Unloading

Unloading

Unloading

Fast, careful and professional unloading at destination. A supervised handover so the product is not damaged at the final step of transport.

Unloading, the final stage of the transport process, covers discharging the goods at their destination quickly, carefully and professionally. Agricultural produce needs the same care on unloading that it received in transit.

The last hundred metres are the most critical

A load arriving intact after hundreds of kilometres does not make up for a mistake at unloading. Rushed discharge leads to product loss, mixing and a drop in quality. We therefore run unloading as a planned operation.

Into the warehouse and under cover

We hold goods handled at the ports in our own warehouses and dispatch them to our partners across the country. Keeping the transition from unloading to storage seamless shortens the time the product spends exposed.

Checks at handover

Quantity and condition are checked during unloading and the handover is recorded by both sides. That removes any ambiguity that might otherwise surface later between the parties.

Food safety

The suitability of the unloading environment is observed so the product does not spoil and food safety is preserved. With fresh produce in particular, maintaining an unbroken cold chain is essential.
